Constellations

I’ve had many moles removed over the years.
A long time ago, a lover even named the ones close to my left armpit after him.
They are gone now.

Where I live, it’s very dark at night, there are no street lamps.
It’s pitch black outside. I have never seen the stars more clearly.

But I’m still my own Milky Way

I am like a falling star who has finally found her place next to another in a lovely constellation, where we will sparkle in the heavens forever.
